Year Of The Tiger Virtual Challenge 2022 Run & Ride

By Participating in Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride, including but not limited to its registration on this website, participants accept and agree to follow and are bound by all rules and regulations, terms and conditions set by the organizer of Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride.

REGISTRATION

1. Minimum age with a proof of a valid identification is 17 years old. 
2. With consideration of the minimum age above, all nationalities can register to be a participant. 
3. Participant cannot change the category selected once the registration process is completed.
4. When registering, participants agree to:
   • Provide the latest, accurate and complete information about the participant (Registration Data)
   • To always check the Registration Data to ensure its accuracy and completeness.
5. Organizer reserves the right to halt or cancel participant’s registration if the participant is found to have provided inaccurate information.
6. Organizer can send a notification to the participant through a registered email. All notifications sent to the registered email address are considered to have been received by the participant.
7. Organizer reserves the right to limit the number of participants and/or turn down participation that is not in accordance with the terms and conditions set for this event.
8. Organizer reserves the right to close registration before the registration deadline or when the set quota is reached. 
9. Participation in Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride is personal. Participants cannot transfer his/her privileges and obligations in this event to a third party.
10. Sales and/or transfer of participation in Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride is prohibited and may be used as grounds for disqualification. 

RACE PACK Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride

1. Participants are required to pay for the add-on fee of Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride according to the amount due and the electronic payment options set by the organizer. All potential loss derived from the online electronic payment, including but not limited to disruption of telecommunication network, error in typing and mistake in completion of the electronic payment is the responsibility of the participant. Completed add-on payment by participants cannot be returned or refunded. 
2. Packages will be delivered to the participant’s delivery address that is registered in our system and that is within the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
3. Jersey and/or Medal will be sent starts from March 20, 2022
4. There will be an extra delivery cost for those registrants located outside Java Island.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

1. Participants must follow all decisions made by the organizer of Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride.
2. Participants hereby understands that Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride will involve physical activities and must ensure that participant is in a physical condition that is well enough to participate in Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride.
3. Organizer will not be responsible for loss that is caused by the following:
   • Hereditary illnesses
   • Accident during activities
   • loss and/or damage of personal properties during activities.
4. Minimum distance of activity:
   • 25 KM Run – 25 kilometers with maximum 10 activities.
   • 73 KM Ride – 73 kilometers with maximum 10 activities.
5. Maximum distance that must be completed does not exceed:
   • 25 KM Run – 30 kilometers with maximum 10 activities.
   • 73 KM Ride – 80 kilometers with maximum 10 activities.
6. Participants must use one of the trackers of either Garmin, Suunto, or Strava during the participant’s activity.
7. The distance of activities that have been entered into JawaraVR during the event period can be deleted provided that the participant's status has not been “FINISHED”.
8. Participants must connect a tracker (Garmin, Suunto, or Strava) to the JawaraVR platform in the member area.
9. Participant who have connected their tracker with JawaraVR Platform will have their activities automatically captured after each synchronization
10. Participants are considered finishing the virtual race once the participant has completed the total distance of within the period of submission.
11. Participants who did not reach the required distance of, will be declared not completing the virtual race. 
12. The information of ranking on leaderboard is temporary until the final verification.
13. Although you enter in a jersey size when registering. 
14. For issues regarding activities, you may contact JawaraVR Customer Service until March, 11 2022 (Deadline for activities verification).

TRACKER: STRAVA, GARMIN, SUUNTO

1. The collecting activities data from tracker (Strava/Suunto/Garmin) to JawaraVR platform takes at least 24 hours to be displayed on the "Dashboard-My Activities".
2. In some cases, it may take a while to sync the activity: remember to press the 'Refresh' button on JawaraVR and refresh the activity list in your activity tracker app.
3. The “Refresh” button is only able to retrieve participant activity data for 7 days.
4. If the activities are not syncing automatically to the event, please click button “Select Activity” to select the activity you want to include on JawaraVR Squid Virtual Challenge.
5. Please contact our customer service if you have problems when synchronizing the activity logger with JawaraVR.

OTHERS

1. In the event of incidents that are beyond human control (force majeure) including but not limited to work strikes, fires, mass riots, sabotage, pandemics, restrictions on activities, natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods or other matters beyond the control of all parties and causing Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride to have to be cancelled, no party can be sued nor are they to provide compensation for all losses incurred as a result of a force majeure incident.
2. Organizer reserves the right to change these terms and conditions, which will be informed by the organizer to participants by any means of communication.

General:

1. Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride is organized to promoting an active lifestyle that is safe and respects the spirit of sportsmanship. Organizer expects the participants to provide running or cycling data that are accurate and true.
2. Registration of Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride cannot be canceled or transferred without exception.
3. Participant must be 17 years old when the Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride is starting.
4. jawaravr.id is the only official website used to distribute information about this event
5. Strava and Garmin are activity trackers that are available to use. You must connect one of these trackers with JawaraVR platform to be able to participate in the virtual
6. The accuracy of the activities is the responsibility of the participant. Organizer is not responsible for discrepancies of distance recorded between more than one device.
7. If participants are running or cycling outdoor, participants are expected to follow the local government regulations on social distancing and physical distancing.
8. Year of The Tiger Challenge 2022 Run & Ride activities are recorded automatically by JawaraVR. Participants have the option to delete activities recorded that are unwanted.
9. Organizer has the ability to limit or delete activities that are inconsistent with the activities of running or cycling.

Rules of event

1. The event organizer has absolute authority to make an assessment. 
2. The participants were required to use their own legs and strength to complete the course. The other method to complete the run course (such as: vehicle) will be considered as cheating and declared DNF.
3. The unusual activity will be detained and examined, participants must prove their activities without committing fraud. Participants can send the proof of activity or speed of activity which is almost the same as the time recorded in online/offline events as consideration for event organizers. 
4. The event organizer has absolute authority to determine whether actions and/ or circumstances as NOT START (“DNS”), DISQUALIFICATION (“DSQ”) dan DID NOT FINISH (“DNF”) are based on the rules and regulation or the event organizer’s discretion. 
5. The participants who engage in unsupportive behavior will be declared DSQ, and forever recorded in official results of the events as “(DISQUALIFIED FOR UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT)”.
6. The event organizer's decision is final and can not be disputed.

Activities and Sports

1. Participants are responsible for their own activities and for the choice of route.
2. Organizer is not responsible for accidents that may arrive from the choice of route by the participants
3. Organizer is not responsible for negligence by participants when doing their activities.
4. Results of activities by participants will be listed based on time and not distance submitted.
